Market Administrator (Trading Tech Support Analyst)

Job Summary
Market Administrator provides first- and second-line platform and trade support for trading platforms, including incident management, trade issue investigation, and resolution; monitors logs and configurations, tests software releases, and ensures data accuracy. Acts as liaison with brokers, traders, business managers, and external clients; handles escalations and onboarding tasks; mentors junior team members and contributes to global knowledge sharing. Responsibilities include leading project initiatives, maintaining technical manuals, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Technical duties involve deployment and integration of trading platforms (e.g., Java Webstart, STP, API), liaising with third-party vendors (ION, Markit, Traiana, ICE, Reuters), and performing risk assessments using tools like ServiceNow. Strong communication, client-facing skills, organization, and adaptability are required, with preferred background in financial services trading environments and market knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in financial services preferred in credit, rates, FX or other trading environments
- Knowledge of OTC markets and electronic trading platforms
- Strong understanding of trade flows and trading systems
- Experience with system administration, data processing, and XML/log analysis
- Professional attributes: communication, client-facing, organization, mentoring
- Ability to lead projects and train associates
- Experience with ServiceNow and risk assessments
