Job Summary
Market Account Director role based in Perth, Australia, responsible for providing total account management for a portfolio of high-value complex accounts to increase Marriott's preference, loyalty, and profitable share. Lead and coordinate strategic account management and team-based selling to develop business-to-business strategies, build long-term value-based relationships with key buyers, map revenue streams to grow share and drive superior results across corporate accounts and Marriott hotels. Responsibilities include establishing and communicating overall account strategies aligned with corporate priorities, mapping buyers to accounts, defending and growing market share and revenue targets, liaising with cross-discipline resources (corporate, regional, market, property) for effective pull-through, developing and implementing promotions, maximizing revenue, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and delivering exceptional customer service to meet client needs. The role requires strong networking, negotiating, analytical, and leadership capabilities, with a global perspective and cross-regional understanding of MI brands, sales, and service offerings.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 3 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.

- 5-year experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area, with hotel industry work experience highly desirable.
