Job Summary
Market Access Developer to design, implement, and support low-latency market access systems for QRT trading business. Responsibilities include building and enhancing trading gateways and market data handlers to global exchanges and brokers, owning exchange upgrades and broker onboarding with gap analysis, development, and validation/certifications, and providing production support. Opportunities to work on low-latency aspects of MA systems, exposure to surrounding upstream and downstream systems, and close collaboration with quantitative analysts/developers, traders, operations, compliance, risk officers, and IT teams. Requires minimum 5 years of C++ development on Linux, Python and bash scripting, design/implementation of multithreaded and distributed systems, experience with exchange gateways or market data feed handlers, and familiarity with FIX protocol; strong communication and problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of C++ development on Linux platform
- Python and bash scripting skills essential
- Experience designing and implementing multithreaded and distributed systems
- Experience of exchange trading gateways and/or market data feed handlers
- Experience with FIX trading protocol advantageous
- Good knowledge of financial products desirable
- Experience in low latency optimization and tuning techniques advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential
- Being a motivated team player, with excellent problem-solving skills
