Job Summary
Marker-Grader (Tour 3P39) for Fall term at Brock University. Duties include marking assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams; providing written feedback clearly identifying the basis of grades (substantive content, grammar, spelling, and organization); and invigilating mid-terms or entering grades into databases upon instructor request. Qualifications require either a Master’s degree in Tourism, Development Studies of Tourism, Human Rights in Tourism, or related areas (or enrollment in a Master’s program), or an Honours BA in Tourism with an overall average of 80% or higher; strong knowledge of Human Rights issues in Tourism and related fields; proficiency with Harvard, APA, and MLA referencing; and skills in MS Word, Excel, and Brock University’s Brightspace; familiarity with Brock’s AI Policy and Academic Integrity Policy. The role is part-time and on campus, with compensation rates by degree level as specified (Master’s degree rate $36.00/hour, undergraduate degree rate $31.04/hour, etc.). Required Qualifications

- knowledge in MS WORD, EXCEL and Brock University's Brightspace
- knowledge in AI Policy and Academic Integrity Policy at Brock University
