Job Summary
Duties include marking assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and final exams with written feedback clearly identifying the basis of the grade (content, or written communications such as spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure). The marker-grader may invigilate mid-terms or enter grades into databases at the request of the course instructor. An 80%+ in this course is required, along with minimum second-year completion in Mathematics or Statistics, and the ability to follow marking guidelines and deadlines. Positions are paid according to qualification level (Master’s Degree Complete $36/hour; Undergraduate Degree Complete $31.04/hour; Third Year Complete $22.91/hour; Second Year Complete $20.15/hour; First Year Complete $19.00/hour). Required Qualifications
- Must have a grade of 80% or higher in the course STAT 1P99
- Must have a minimum of second-year complete in Mathematics or Statistics program
- Achieved an A standing in at least 4 credits in Mathematics and/or Statistics
- Ability to follow instructions and deadlines for marking assessments
