Job Summary
Marker-Grader for GEOG 2P14 in Niagara region. Duties include marking assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and final exams, with written feedback clearly identifying the basis of the grade. May invigilate mid-terms/exams or enter grades into databases at the course instructor's request. Qualifications include postgraduate degree or honours degree in Geography (or equivalent), completion of 4 Geography credits with 75%+ average, completion of the course with 75%+ in that course, undergraduate teaching experience or small-group leadership, and strong communication/interpersonal skills. Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in or have completed a postgraduate degree or have completed a Honours Degree in Geography or equivalent*
- Completion of 4 full credits in Geography with an overall average of 75% or higher in all Geography courses completed is required (or equivalent*)
- Completion of the course for which the applicant wishes to be teaching assistant with a final grade of 75% or higher In that course (or equivalent*)
- Demonstrated successful undergraduate teaching experience or equivalent small group leadership in an undergraduate context
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize work and meet stipulated deadlines
