Job Summary
Marker-Grader for GEOG 2P08 in Winter. Duties include marking assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams, and providing written feedback identifying the basis for grades in substantive content and written communications. May invigilate mid-terms/exams or enter grades into databases. Requires postgraduate or honours degree in Physical Geography or equivalent, with strong communication, prioritization, and climatology knowledge. On-campus requirement; flexible hours; part-time appointment with terms per Collective Agreement.
Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in or have completed a postgraduate degree or have completed an Honours Degree in Physical Geography or equivalent
- Completion of 4 full credits in Physical Geography with an overall average of 75% or higher in all Physical Geography courses completed is required (or equivalent)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize work and meet stipulated deadlines
- Knowledge and past course experience in climatology
