Job Summary
Operate a Mark Andy Performance Series P4 flexographic press to produce high-quality pressure-sensitive labels and packaging products, managing complete press setup, make-ready, plate mounting, and job changeovers. Maintain proper registration, color consistency, and print quality while troubleshooting defects such as misregistration, color variation, and die-cut issues. Perform routine preventive maintenance, conduct ink and substrate setup, and verify finished products meet customer specifications. Collaborate with Scheduling, Prepress, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure efficient production, adhere to safety and GMP procedures, and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Work the 2nd or 3rd shift (2:30–10:30 PM or 10:30 PM–6:30 AM).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years operating narrow-web flexographic presses
- Strong understanding of plate mounting
- Strong understanding of anilox selection
- Strong understanding of ink systems
- Strong understanding of UV curing
- Strong understanding of color matching
- Strong understanding of registration
- Strong understanding of die cutting
- Strong understanding of lamination
- Ability to troubleshoot print quality and mechanical issues independently
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read production orders and quality specifications
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to frequently bend, twist, push, and reach
- Must be able to distinguish color accurately
- Must be able to safely work around moving machinery
- Must be able to wear required PPE

- Experience operating a Mark Andy Performance Series press
- Experience operating Mark Andy P4, P5, P7, or P9 presses
- Experience printing pressure-sensitive labels
- Experience with UV flexographic printing
- Color management experience
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience

- Experience operating MPS presses
- Experience operating Omet presses
- Experience operating Gallus presses
