Job Summary
Inspect, maintain, and repair boats of all kinds, including routine maintenance on marine engines, electrical, hydraulic, and water systems. Utilize diagnostic equipment to test and repair inboard-outboard engines for service or warranty purposes while troubleshooting, replacing, and installing vessel components. Conduct thorough assessments prior to jobs, acknowledge budgeted versus actual time, and maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and repairs needed. Source and assign parts to appropriate vessels or work orders, communicate with owners and team members to ensure timely repairs, and promote company products to meet customer needs. Follow safety rules, wear required PPE, and report accidents or spills immediately. Must possess own tools and work a fully flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortability with ladders and confined spaces is required
- Ability to work in the elements regularly
- Ability to work a fully flexible work schedule that may include days, nights, weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Technical school training preferred
- 5 years' experience preferred
- ABYC and/or manufacturer certifications preferred
- Technical outboard training/experience a plus
- Basic boat handling skills preferred
- Experience with both gas and diesel engines preferred
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to stand for extended periods and occasionally kneel, stoop, bend and twist in tight areas
- Ability to work on-site at Conanicut Marina
