Thrive in tight engine rooms by crawling into confined spaces and operating in extreme weather while maintaining rigorous documentation through daily photo and video reports. Rectify complex mechanical issues across vessels ranging from recreational runabouts to superyachts, treating every asset with white-glove respect and returning all tools to their proper place. This hands-on role requires proven yacht servicing experience, digital proficiency for tablet-based reporting, and a passion for troubleshooting high-performance systems within an ISO 9001-accredited facility.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience servicing yachts
- Deep knowledge of marine engines and systems
- Certifications in MAN, Mercury, Yamaha, Volvo, or Cummins
- Comfortable using tablets and mobile software to track time and submit daily technical reports
- Valid driver's license
- A genuine passion for mechanics and troubleshooting
- Self-motivated and capable of launching into productive work
- Patient, respectful, and capable of working collaboratively in a diverse team environment
- Personally resilient, with a capacity to demonstrate a growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
- Comfortable working in tight engine rooms, crawling into confined spaces, and operating in cold or hot weather conditions
- Ability to maintain 95% returning customers
