Job Summary
Manufacturing specialist A-2-Sea products by performing daily assembly, testing, and commissioning while adhering to ISO Quality procedures. Assembling, calibrating, and commissioning equipment; final packaging and preparation for shipment. Maintaining, repairing, and upgrading customer-owned equipment. Inputting into new product development and qualification to provide design feedback. Creating commissioning reports, technical reports, and assembly instructions. Mentoring junior staff, conducting performance reviews, identifying skills gaps, managing training initiatives, and facilitating technology transfers. Requires 3+ years in a similar role with supervisory experience and knowledge of material selection, wiring methods, and machining capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 3 + years' in a similar role with supervisory experience
- Good knowledge of material selection, wiring methods and machining capabilities for electrical and mechanical manufacturing purposes
- Good interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and under instruction while prioritizing a busy workload and meeting deadlines
- Have a hardworking drive to achieve and excel
- Be confident in learning new systems
- Be willing to get involved in 'hands on' build and assembly tasks
- Be enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Be a confident individual with have good communication skills with the ability to lead, communicate with colleagues at all levels in the company
