Job Summary
Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical equipment on shipboard cranes, winches, and machinery, performing refurbishment, upgrades, inspections, and corrective actions. Supervise service activities while identifying sales opportunities and preparing detailed reports to support overall goals and budgets. Ensure all work complies with IMS, QHSE, and MacGregor standards while reporting directly to the Operations Superintendent. Work offshore and at local shipyards worldwide with flexible hours to meet demand.
Required Qualifications
- background in the offshore or maritime industry
- primary focus on hydraulic, mechanical and electric equipment

- Technical education at college in electrical or mechanical disciplines, or a similar relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of hydraulic and electric experience
- Previous experience with ship and/or port cranes, winches
- Willingness and ability to travel for extended periods of time
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Willingness to work offshore
- Willingness to work at local shipyards and ports world wide
- Services expected to maintain flexible working hours in response to demand
- Must be based in MacGregor's office in Houston, Texas
Desired Qualifications
