Job Summary
Sell new and pre-owned boats and marine products using a professional, consultative purchase process; build lasting relationships that generate repeat and referral business; develop expert knowledge of boats, engines, electronics, accessories, and competitive brands; follow up consistently with prospects and customers; maintain a strong presence in the local boating community; participate in boat shows, customer events, demos, and dealership promotions; deliver an exceptional ownership experience from first conversation through delivery and beyond; utilize CRM tools and dealership systems to manage customer relationships effectively.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales experience preferred (marine, powersports, automotive, RV, luxury retail, or similar)
- Proven success in commissioned or high-ticket sales environments
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Professional appearance and customer-first mindset
- Ability to learn and present technical product information confidently
- Experience with CRM systems preferred
- Boating, fishing, watersports, or marine lifestyle experience strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license required
