Job Summary
As a Marine Rigger, you will install and connect outboard motors and accessories on pontoon boats, rigging per manufacturer specifications and factory work orders. You will uncrate motors, set them on transoms, drill and fasten per specs, set wake centerlines, and ensure compliance with safety procedures. You’ll work with 12-36V DC wiring, marine equipment (engine controls, steering, ignition, gauges, GPS, fish-finders), and perform basic troubleshooting. Strong communication with the team, adherence to safety, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required; a High School diploma or equivalent is expected. The role emphasizes teamwork, quality, reliability, and alignment with Premier Marine’s core values.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months working as an outboard motor rigger or marine service technician
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate well with others
- Ability to take instructions and work with little supervision
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be a team player with focus on customer service and quality
- Must have solid work attendance and be reliable
- High School degree or equivalent
