Job Summary
Diagnose and repair marine diesel engines, generators, and related applications while performing preventative maintenance and emergency repairs. Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, cooling, and hydraulic systems by reading wiring diagrams and schematics. Execute engine overhauls and component replacements, maintaining accurate service reports and documentation throughout. Provide strong customer service while working independently with minimal supervision. This role is based in City of Industry and offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $33 to $57.50 plus overtime and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching.
Required Qualifications
- One-year certificate or Associates degree from a community college or technical school
- Five plus year's heavy equipment experience or equivalent education and experience
- Experience with diesel engines (marine or industrial)
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- CAT or similar equipment experience
