Job Summary
Manage technical and non-technical staff for Marine Operations, focusing on small boat maintenance and operation while leading Project Managers and Site Supervisors. Provide program management for multiple contracts and serve as the primary technical customer contact, supervising workforce hiring, firing, salary, and performance. Align opportunities with company capabilities, develop business relationships with key decision makers, and arrange capability presentations. Lead business development processes including proposal writing, basis of estimate activities, and defining win strategies. Validate technical and financial reports, analyze metrics, and develop corrective action solutions to meet operational goals. Oversee the assigned unit budget and ensure task deliverables comply with customer requirements. Requires ten years of marine operations experience or equivalent degree and experience, Secret level security clearance, and ability to travel for on-site leadership and meetings.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of ten (10) years of marine operations and maritime experience
- A Bachelors of Science Degree in Management, Marine Transportation or Engineering
- The equivalent of five (5) years of relative experience
- Navy small boat operations and maintenance experience
- Ability to understand and respond to any concerns in a timely manner
- Proactive attitude
- Active engagement in all aspects of operations
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good judgment
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage projects at various geographic locations
- Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level
- US Citizenship
