Job Summary
Perform services, repairs, and refits of vessel engines, systems, and equipment including engine components, compressors, pumps, and cylinder heads. Measure and inspect bearings, cylinders, pistons, and turbochargers; repair and test fuel injection systems. Operate large and small mobile cranes, forklifts, and winches. Provide a lead hand role for new employees and helpers while performing additional duties as required. Submit a cover letter and resume by August 20, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- thorough understanding of Work Safe BC regulations and safe working practices
- working knowledge of relevant materials, tools and equipment
- relevant BC or Interprovincial Trade Qualification in one or more of the following trades: Heavy Duty Mechanic, or Millwright
Desired Qualifications
- marine engine and/or thruster experience
