Job Summary
Installation, repair, and hook-up of equipment for electrical services on ships in a Pascagoula shipyard. Requires working knowledge of electrical theory and procedures, ability to troubleshoot and repair shipboard electrical systems and equipment (600 V and less) per drawings/specifications, and adherence to safety procedures. Required Qualifications
- Experience with installation, repair, and hook-up of shipboard electrical equipment
- Familiarity with safety procedures and Lock-out Tag-out (LOTO)
- Ability to work on electrical systems 600 V and less
- Knowledge of electrical theory and procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair shipboard electrical systems and equipment as per drawings/specifications
- Hands-on electrical hook-up and testing
