Job Summary
Meet with vessel personnel and facility staff to oversee dock operations and assist with safe oil and chemical transfers. Operate crane, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical equipment, and manual or motor operated valves while understanding facility piping layouts to transfer the proper product. Maintain detailed dock logs recording events chronologically, gauge barges, and retrieve product samples. Complete any other assigned duties to ensure job completion. This full-time role involves 8–12 hour rotating shifts across days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Valid driver's license or TWIC card may be required depending on location.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- legally able to work in the U.S.
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
- Speak, write, read fluent English
- Regular on-site attendance and punctuality
- valid Driver's License
- valid TWIC card
