Job Summary

Directly supervise and lead a crew of marine construction workers while training and mentoring new hires on construction methods, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Monitor team adherence to safety protocols, delegate tasks, and maintain both marine and land-based equipment. Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and plans, then communicate effectively with project owners, superintendents, and managers. Utilize project management software to provide reports as needed. Requires OSHA 30-hour training certificate and five years of experience in heavy civil or marine construction.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role with a heavy civil contractor, preferably marine
  • Strong knowledge of marine construction techniques, and/or methods of construction including pile driving
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including exposure to weather and water
  • Obtain OSHA 30-hour training certificate, and other certifications as necessary
