Marine and Shipping Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate marine and shipping activities for the LNG terminal during project execution and operations readiness. Provide oversight and technical support for marine activities, support HSSE and emergency response planning, and develop marine traffic management plans. Manage vessel coordination, berthing/mooring, cargo operations, and third-party marine contracts; conduct inspections/audits of marine subcontractors; act as Alternate Port Facility Security Officer; ensure safe LNG cargo operations and compliance with terminal procedures and industry best practices. Responsibilities include coordinating tug/passenger boat contracts, materials barging, and support to commissioning/start-up of the terminal’s marine facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Master Mariner or Chief Officer certificates
- Dangerous cargo endorsements - Liquefied gas Tankers, Chemical or Oil Tankers
- Right to work in Canada
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
