Job Summary
Assist the Dockmaster with marina operations and customer relations. Responsibilities include collecting fees, assigning dockage and anchorage, operating pump and tender equipment, coordinating reservations, maintaining docks/buildings/grounds, ensuring safety procedures, and keeping facilities clean. Requires knowledge of customer service principles, basic power tools, boating/marina terminology, and basic boat handling; ability to lift up to 50 pounds, swim, and work odd hours, weekends, and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent and some marina/boating experience, along with a valid driver’s license, are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some experience in marina or boating operation; or Any equivalent combination of training and experience
- Possession of a valid state driver’s license issued for the type of vehicle or equipment operated
- Some experience in customer service
