Job Summary
Plan and deploy MariaDB clusters supporting multi-Terabyte workloads with a focus on high-availability and fault-tolerance. Ensure storage, archiving, and backup procedures operate correctly, including disaster recovery scenarios. Maintain and upgrade clusters to comply with patch levels and security standards. Monitor performance and manage parameters to optimize database experience. Investigate operational incidents, debug problems, and provide recovery solutions in 24x7 conditions. Contribute to the on-call roster and maintain documentation and specifications. Work closely with software reliability engineers and R&D teams to improve automation and ecosystem performance.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years managing MySQL or MariaDB database technologies, in a critical, highly available enterprise environment
- Experience in working with Linux platform
- Experience with database automation (Ansible, Python, shell, etc.)
- All CVs MUST BE SUBMITTED IN ENGLISH
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge with another database technology like Microsoft SQL Server (2016+) and / or Oracle (19c+)
