Job Summary
Conduct front ensemble and battery sections, manage audio engineering, and oversee visual elements for the Council Rock South Marching Band. Lead weekly rehearsals, including sectionals and ensemble sessions, while executing strategies to improve ensemble timing and modern front ensemble technique. Operate contemporary outdoor field PA systems, microphone arrays, and digital mixers, ensuring wireless frequency considerations are met during football games and competitions. Assist in writing or caption management as needed, with potential extension into the Indoor Drumline season. Background clearances and mandatory paperwork are required for employment.

- Pit Instructors
- Audio Engineer
- Visual Instructor
- PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
- Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
- FBI Fingerprints (Act 114)
- Arrest/Conviction Report form
- PA Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure (Act 168)
- submitted physician's health form (less than 1 year)
- recently completed TB test
Desired Qualifications
- Low Brass or Woodwind Specialty
- DCI/DCA/WGI experience
- A comprehensive approach to modern front ensemble technique
- Strategies to improve ensemble timing in the marching arts
- Understanding of the responsibilities of each section of the front ensemble or battery choir
- Knowledge or experience with contemporary outdoor field PA systems
- Knowledge or experience with microphone arrays used in the marching arts
- Knowledge or experience with modern digital mixers
- Knowledge or experience with wireless frequency considerations in the marching arts
- writing or caption manager opportunities
- Ability to extend service into the Indoor Drumline season
