Job Summary
Manufacturing Technician responsible for assembling, testing, repairing and modifying production mechanical and electro-mechanical components and instruments. Duties include devising, fabricating, and assembling assemblies for industrial equipment and machinery; installing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing products; coordinating final assembly with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical controls; setting up and conducting unit and component tests under operational conditions; analyzing test results and implementing modifications to meet specifications; recording procedures, results, and data; and applying quality-focused problem solving and continuous improvement practices. Requires a high school diploma with vocational/technical training and 2-5 years of related experience, familiarity with ISO/AS9100, Lean Manufacturing/Kaizen, and software tools such as LabVIEW, MS Excel/Word/Outlook, and data collection software. Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and test procedures, plus strong analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills; ability to work in a structured manufacturing environment with emphasis on quality and safety.
Required Qualifications
