Manufacturing Welder 2 - Day Shift

Job Summary
This position is responsible for performing moderate manufacturing weld fabrications of various products. The MFG Welder 2 demonstrates proficiency in interpreting drawings and blueprints, tack welding, stitch welding, and seal welding. Candidates should have two to four years of experience, preferably with welding certifications in GMAW and FCAW processes. Key tasks include adhering to guidelines for weld setup, ensuring compliance with welding codes and quality standards, and maintaining equipment. The role requires the ability to work independently or in teams, effective communication, and a commitment to safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience required; four or more years preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of weld equipment and dimensional tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of specification and drawing interpretations
- Ability to read, write, and understand information
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools
Desired Qualifications
- Basic Welding Certifications in the GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW welding process in the 1-3 G/F positions preferred
