Job Summary
Manufacturing Vision Systems Technician responsible for monitoring quality inspection data and defect trends, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting backend vision/inspection equipment, and driving continuous improvement to reduce in-process scrap and downtime. Role requires documenting machine performance, communicating shifts, and serving as a link between front-end and back-end operations. Will assist in SOP/TPM activities, train Production Operators on basic functions, and uphold safety and 5S standards in a 12-hour shift environment at the De Soto, KS site. Requires a high school diploma and at least two years of manufacturing experience with visual inspection/measurement systems; SPC experience preferred. Shift differential applies for nighttime hours; overtime paid over 40 hours per week in accordance with laws.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of manufacturing experience involving visual product inspection and measurement systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Statistical process control (SPC) experience preferred
