Job Summary
Operate all plant equipment within the manufacturing process and perform both plant and administrative roles while filling in for short-term staffing needs. Prepare, analyze, and interpret operational reports, then participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned. You will learn and demonstrate functions under the guidance of an experienced Plant Manager in a structured training program lasting 18-24 months. The role requires relocating to a new site and involves exposure to industrial materials, temperature extremes, and physical demands including lifting 80 pounds. This position develops future plant leadership through hands-on experience in operations, personnel management, and business processes.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness and ability to relocate upon successful completion of the training program (typically 18-24 months)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical degree required
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Proven ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines and strict quality standards
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities
- Demonstrated leadership capability and strong analytical/problem-solving skills
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, including temperature extremes, dust, rain, wind, and snow
- Work environment includes exposure to industrial materials such as cement dust, fuels, lubricants, and electrical systems
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing and respiratory protection in designated areas
- Physical requirements include climbing stairs and ladders, ability to lift 80 pounds and performing tasks requiring strength, endurance, and manual dexterity
