Manufacturing Training Leader

Job Summary
Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new hires and existing employees in manufacturing operations. Conduct hands-on training sessions on equipment operation, safety procedures, quality standards, and production processes. Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, observations, and feedback while maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. Collaborate with supervisors to identify skill gaps and lead cross-training initiatives to build workforce flexibility. Update training materials and SOPs as processes evolve and monitor training metrics and KPIs. Requires prior Blow Mold experience, 3+ years in manufacturing, and a certification in training or instructional design. Bilingual skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and LMS are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- at least 1 year in a training or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Strong knowledge of quality systems
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
- Familiarity with OSHA and other regulatory training requirements
- Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., CPTM, ATD)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems (LMS)
- Bilingual skills
- Prior Blow Mold experience
