Job Summary
Manufacturing Trainee/Apprentice role at Valeo in Process/Manufacturing Engineering. The position involves time taking analysis, capacity study analysis, and follow-up and implementation of standards within an internship/trainee framework. Candidates should have an engineering degree in progress (preferred fields include Manufacturing, Process, Industrial), intermediate English, proficiency with Windows Office (Google Docs/Sheets/Drive/Docs preferred), and availability for the 1st shift. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools, AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and SAP is desirable. The role is part-time and located in Juarez, Mexico, with a trainee employment status and a focus on manufacturing/industrialization activities.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering Degree in progress (Preferred: Manufacturing, Process, Industrial)
- Intermediate English
- Knowledge in Windows Office (Preferably Google Docs/Sheets/Drive/Docs)
- Availability during 1st shift (8-3 or what the Intern schedule requires)
- Manufacturing / Industrialization : Time taking analysis
- Capacity study analysis
- Follow up and implementation of standards
- Basic knowledge in continuous improvement tools (Lean Manufacturing)
- Knowledge in AutoCAD and Solidworks
- Knowledge of SAP (desirable)
