Manufacturing Test Technician

Job Summary
Conduct alignments, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of components, circuits, sub-assemblies, modules, and systems. Operate multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, current probes, thermometers, and complex pick and place handlers including M3 and Eclipse X models. Recognize failures during system testing, formulate corrective action plans, and perform engineering and quality assurance evaluations. Maintain equipment calibration per ISO standards and execute routine preventive maintenance tasks. Train technicians, interface with management and customers, and assist in assembly projects as required. Perform tasks adhering to established quality and safety standards while working in a lab environment with exposure to chemicals such as refrigerants and alcohol. Requires standing or sitting at a bench for extended periods and lifting up to 50lbs.
Required Qualifications
- AS degree or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of five years' experience in test and/or E/M manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of electronics theory
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Ability to wire and build test fixtures
- Advanced diagnostic skill level
- PCB soldering and rework
- Electronic components sourcing
- Completing bills of materials
- Advanced computer skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to add/modify and update pertinent data in MS Excel
- Work on reports using MS Word
- Work with several complex software tools to test parts as per MPI's & Work instructions
- Ability to stand or sit at a bench for extended periods
- Bend, crouch, sit or kneel to work on a system
- Lift up to 50lbs
