Job Summary
Develop test strategies, scripts, and tools for PCBA, subassembly, and system-level production validation across Red 6 and contract manufacturer sites. Define acceptance criteria, failure reporting standards, and specifications for jigs, fixtures, and test racks while overseeing duplication of test infrastructure. Integrate test software, ensure proper compilation, and drive root cause analysis for yield issues and test failures. Establish traceability, data collection, and reporting requirements to meet DOD, aerospace, and IPC standards. Validate repeatability, reliability, and GR&R performance through environmental and stress testing.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in production test engineering
- Experience with Python, C/C++, or similar test platforms
- Strong background in PCBA and system-level electronic test
- Experience developing automated test systems and fixtures
- Experience supporting CMs in test implementation
- Familiarity with compiling/building test software in manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of traceability and production data management
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills
- US Citizen
- Travel is required to CM facilities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace/defense
- Security clearance
- Familiarity with MIL-STD requirements
- Experience in environmental and stress screening (ESS/HASS/HALT)
