Job Summary
Senior Test Engineer in a manufacturing environment responsible for testing electrical/electronic sub-systems and circuit cards across the product lifecycle, supporting test capability, generating test specifications and operator instructions, diagnosing production test failures to component level, collaborating with operations and design teams to meet programme targets, and contributing to continuous improvement within a fast-paced defence manufacturing team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum HNC level of qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject (HND/Degree preferred)
- Experience in digital and analogue electronics manufacture and test
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic measurement and test principles
- Experience with manual and automated test equipment
- Familiar with ERP/MIS systems (e.g. SAP, MES) for recording test activities and non-conformance reports
- Ability to plan and organise work to meet project objectives
- Strong verbal/written communication and technical reporting skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Security clearance requirements (BPSS) in the UK
- British Citizenship required
