Job Summary
As a Manufacturing Test Engineer III, design, develop, and maintain production test scripts, software, and test fixtures to verify production hardware for industrial electronics. Work with a cross-functional Engineering team to automate testing of boards and assemblies, develop tools and fixtures, and prepare production test documentation. Collaborate with local quality, operations, lean, and shop support to define test requirements, plans, and strategies; investigate and resolve product failures; review designs for completeness and cost efficiency; and train production personnel on new or revised tests. Leverage experience in C/C++, C#, Bash, LabVIEW, Python, and Test Stand, and utilize Linux/QNX/FreeRTOS environments to develop automated tests and ensure adherence to electronics verification and validation standards. Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant company and industry standards, support standardization across manufacturing test platforms, and contribute to a culture focused on quality and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of related experience
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Self-driven, quick learner, good team player, and results-oriented
- Software Development experience with C, C++, C#, Bash, LabVIEW, Python, or other scripting languages
- Experience with Linux or Unix-based real-time operating systems (QNX, FreeRTOS)
- Electronic circuit knowledge and experience (DMMs, Oscilloscopes)
