Manufacturing Test Engineer

Job Summary
Assess and develop test plans, procedures, and equipment for manufacturing processes while conducting tests and inspections to ensure products meet quality and performance standards. Analyze test data and results to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement, then collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues associated with test equipment and fixtures. Ensure compliance with industry standards, resolve technical debt, and provide training to production staff on testing procedures. Participate in root cause analysis, perform capacity studies, and execute First Time Right checks for new equipment. Requires Six Sigma certification, proficiency in data analysis, and a background in engineering disciplines.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and equipment
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma)
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Background in engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering
- Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role
- Right to work in the UK
