Job Summary
Manufacturing Technology Injection Molding Specialist at 3M: Lead technical problem-solving for injection molding processes across internal and external manufacturing environments; coach engineers and technicians to deliver results through structured problem-solving; drive improvements in safety, quality, service, cost, and process capability; support process development and scale-up from pilot to production; partner with internal teams and external suppliers to diagnose and resolve complex molding issues. Requires a Bachelor’s or Associate degree with extensive hands-on experience in molding, materials science, and polymer behavior; on-site role at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN, with up to 25% travel (domestic/international). Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for employment visa status. Relocation may be authorized. Compensation range for the role is $145,676 - $178,049, plus benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Plastics, Chemical) or higher (completed and verified prior to start) with 5+ years of injection molding or polymer processing experience OR Associate’s Degree or higher with 8+ years of experience in injection molding or polymer processing
