Job Summary
The Technical Area Manager leads the technical team (Process Engineers, Equipment Engineers) in manufacturing, focusing on driving technical execution, process stability, and continuous improvement within the area. Partners with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to deliver safety, quality, throughput, and delivery performance. Responsibilities include coaching and developing the technical team, maintaining expertise within the facility, onboarding/training, cross-functional collaboration, and translating site priorities into technical execution plans. Proactively leads CI/Kaizen activities, uses data-based decision making, and drives improvements in throughput, yield, and backlog reduction. Requires Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, 5+ years industrial/engineering experience, Six Sigma certification, and demonstrated leadership across cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of industrial experience in a technical engineering role
- Six Sigma Certified
- Experience with process control, problem solving, and data analysis
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
