Job Summary
Manually assemble and maintain drones, parts, and support equipment to detailed specs and quality standards, using automation technologies safely. Independently troubleshoot technical issues affecting assembly or quality and perform quality control procedures while documenting results. Occasionally support broader company goals off the shop floor, such as packing shipments to customers or assisting with inventory management. Requires formal training in working with electronic equipment and first professional experience assembling automation technology at a macro-component level.
Required Qualifications
- Completed formal training in working with electronic equipment (e.g. electronics technician, automation technician, mechanic, or similar), through a vocational program, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on path
- First professional experience assembling automation technology at a macro-component level (e.g. working with pre-assembled parts), rather than fine-scale work like surface-mount soldering or oscilloscope-based measurement
- Experience with hand soldering at through-hole scale (e.g. attaching cables through a hole on a PCB)
- Good computer skills
- Good written and spoken English (business language is English)
