Job Summary
Operate drill presses and other shop equipment safely while performing light assembly of temperature and pressure measuring devices. Manage inventory of case parts and assist machinists with setup, materials, and general shop support. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through daily housekeeping and general shop duties as needed. Work a four-day schedule consisting of four 10-hour shifts to enjoy a three-day weekend, with on-the-job training provided for those with mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic and a 'get it done' attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, machining, or assembly experience
- Familiarity with basic shop tools and processes
