Job Summary
Seeking a Manufacturing Technician responsible for performing multi-skilled tasks in the production and processing of silicone rubber compounds. Key responsibilities include accurately measuring raw and finished materials, following mix instructions, using production equipment safely, maintaining a clean work area, packaging material upon batch completion, and communicating equipment repairs. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 3-5 years of experience in a production environment, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Physical demands include lifting up to 60lbs and standing for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 3-5 years' experience in a production environment preferred
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate (verbal and written) effectively
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to wear all required PPE
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with hazardous chemicals at a chemical company
Additional Requirements
- In contact with silicone rubber, powders, fluids
- Lifts up to 60lbs
- Stands 12 hours/day or more
- Performs repetitive hand and arm motions
- Performs twisting, bending, stooping motions
