Job Summary

Manufacturing Technician role focused on assembling and grinding wheelchair lift assemblies/subassemblies per blueprints and material lists. Responsibilities include reading assembly drawings, installing components (windows, gates, motors, switches, handles), testing lifts to meet performance criteria, operating production tools and machinery, meeting production targets, maintaining documentation and a clean work area, following ISO procedures, reporting unsafe conditions, and collaborating with supervisors to improve efficiency and troubleshoot production challenges. Requires mechanical aptitude, ability to handle steel stock, proficiency with measuring units, and forklift certification (or ability to obtain). Works on-site in Tucson, AZ within an ISO-driven manufacturing environment and includes comprehensive company benefits.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months to 1 year of relevant fabrication and assembly experience and/or training
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and interpret material lists, procedure prints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds with assistance
  • Strong English proficiency; ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively
  • Forklift certification or must become forklift certified
