Job Summary
Manufacturing Technician responsible for running Raven's first industrial-scale MAD 3D printing factory. Hands-on operation and maintenance of composite paste mixing machines, MAD 3D printers, CNC mills and lathes; perform machining, post-processing, and finishing of composite parts; conduct inspections and quality control to aerospace standards; assist with setup, calibration, troubleshooting, and documentation of work; support shipping/packaging of parts; collaborate with engineering and operations to improve processes; maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Preferred familiarity with Direct Ink Write (DIW), composites, resin/mixing processes, and DIW-related technologies; experience in aerospace manufacturing or startups is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of machining, manufacturing, or technician experience (aerospace or composites preferred)
- Experience operating CNC mills/lathes and inspection tools
- Basic knowledge of 3D printing, composites, or electromechanical systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
