Manufacturing Technician - Paint

Job Summary
Prepare engines throughout all stages of the paint process, inclusive of washing, masking, and final detailing. Operate electrostatic paint guns, control gun fluid, and manage the 2KS system to introduce paint while troubleshooting as needed. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on paint and wash systems, manage inventory of consumables, and conduct basic assembly repairs for non-conformances. Complete paint inspection reports documenting non-conformities to support root cause analysis and follow work instructions for masking and detailing raised lettering. This role supports the assembly operations unit in engine production at INNIO Waukesha.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1-year relevant paint experience in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of required tools & equipment
- Operation of electrostatic paint guns
- Ability to calibrate both gauges and measuring equipment
- Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Problem solving skills
- Team player who is accountable for teams' success
- Ability to adapt and be successful handling multiple tasks
- High attention to detail
- Ability to conduct work at heights
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours/shifts
- Able to meet physical and cognitive demands assessment
- Ability to lift a minimum weight of 40lbs
