Job Summary
Assemble mechanical and electrical subcomponents, integrate parts, and perform machine builds. Execute electrical wiring and terminations while conducting quality inspections. Handle basic machine startup and troubleshooting, including PLC program loading, testing, and motion controller programming. Assist with system installations, maintaining a 90% factory production focus with 10% field work. Requires two years in related assembly or machine build technology and basic PLC or motion programming knowledge. Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- Alignment with the Avonix ACE core values
- Basic knowledge of general mechanical assembly
- Basic knowledge of general electrical assembly and circuits
- Average computer skills
- Basic understanding of PLC programming or the ability to learn and master the skill
- Basic understanding of motion programming or the ability to learn and master the skill
- Ability to effectively communicate with Avonix employees, customers and management in a professional manner
- Ability to provide technical solutions with a high degree of professionalism
- Self-motivated, well organized and attention to detail
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with a strong desire to learn and succeed
- Two years' experience in related assembly or machine build technology
- Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm
