Job Summary
Manufacturing Technician responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring production equipment to ensure safe and efficient performance; set up equipment, complete changeovers, and adjust machines to meet production requirements; diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, CNC, or automation issues; perform quality checks using precision tools; document production data, downtime, equipment performance, and quality metrics; support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions; follow SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines; collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve processes and equipment reliability; train new technicians or operators on equipment processes and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, machining, or assembly environments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with industrial equipment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical schematics, and work instructions
- Experience with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement methods
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
