Job Summary
Manage a high-volume, highly automated assembly line featuring vision systems and pick-in-place robots while performing preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure maximum uptime. Operate manufacturing equipment, set up and change over machines, and maintain a clean, safe workplace using 5S principles. Provide direction and training to associates on shop floor operations, quality systems, and safety protocols. Coordinate part movement between cells, assist in daily production delivery, and ensure accurate reporting on throughput, scrap, and cost metrics. Lead tooling orders and supply availability to meet department objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to prioritize while driving multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Ability to identify, analyze, prioritize and solve complex issues and problems
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SPC and Lean Manufacturing Fundamentals
- Ability to train others using various avenues, including classroom and OJT
- Ability to read and interpret Blueprints
- Strong ability to troubleshoot process-related issues
- Understand process improvement
- Must have experience and understanding of Mechanical Systems
