Job Summary
Manufacturing Technician to support production operations in a contract-to-hire role in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include operating standard shop equipment (chop saw, drill press, grinder, etc.), performing general assembly and machine operation tasks, reading and following shop drawings and work instructions, conducting basic in-process measurements and quality checks, assisting with routine equipment maintenance, material handling (including forklift operation training), and preparing finished goods for shipment. Requires some manufacturing/industrial experience, ability to use basic hand/power tools, ability to stand or sit for extended periods, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, strong attention to detail, good communication and teamwork, self-motivation, and willingness to learn; electrical or wiring experience is a plus. 4-day work week, Mon–Thu 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, in Eagan, MN with a contract-to-hire opportunity and room for growth and hands-on training. Required Qualifications
- Some experience in manufacturing, production, or an industrial environment
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Comfortable standing or sitting for extended periods
- Ability to lift to 40 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and ability to work well on a team
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Electrical or wiring experience is a plus
