Manufacturing Technician III - Sterile Injection - 12-Hr Night Shift 2-2-3

Job Summary
Operate complex sterile injection equipment for compounding, filling, and visual inspection while maintaining strict adherence to SOPs and cGMPs. Troubleshoot process issues to minimize downtime and conduct real-time sampling, weight checks, and documentation to ensure product quality. Serve as a subject matter expert by training team members and collaborating on continuous improvement initiatives. Perform equipment preparation, sterilization, and facility cleaning while wearing appropriate PPE. Work a 12-hour rotating night shift (2-2-3) from 7:00pm to 7:00am with occasional weekend hours. Requires prior cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing experience and strong leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4-6+ years of relevant experience
- Strong background in sterile/aseptic manufacturing or Drug Substance manufacturing
- Prior work experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Prior pharmaceutical or CDMO experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- 100% on-site position
- Night Shift: 12-Hour Rotating (2-2-3), 7:00pm - 7:0am
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move over 75 pounds with assistance
- 20/20 vision (with or without corrective lenses)
- Ability to pass a color-blind test
- Use of appropriate PPE based on product
- Ability to operate an industrial vehicle such as a forklift
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed written instructions and apply instructions during execution
- Ability to move materials throughout the facility using appropriate methods and equipment
- Ability to use the appropriate PPE based on product (i.e. PAPR, Supplied Air Respirator)
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) and familiarity with electronic documentation systems
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to stand
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk or hear and smell
- Ability to walk
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to occasionally sit
- Ability to work occasionally outside of scheduled shift based on business needs, which may include weekend work
