Manufacturing Technician II - Rotating Weekend - Night Shift

Job Summary
Operate reactors, pressure filters, pumps, filling, labeling, and packaging equipment per written SOPs and UOPs during a 12-hour night shift (6:00pm–6:30am). Execute unit operations including equipment changeovers with Lock Out Tag Out and Confined space protocols, Elutriation processes, R-Bead polymerization, and Bead Coating processes. Maintain batch and equipment records per ISO13485 standards and Good Documentation practices while adhering to GMP safety standards. Assist with maintenance, distribution, 5S initiatives, and continuous improvement activities. Train new employees on basic tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing, laboratory, or related field experience
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret data
- Ability to perform basic calculations
- Troubleshooting skills
- Ability to stand for 80% of the shift
- Ability to move ~40 lbs up one flight of stairs
- Ability to push 55 gallon drums on wheeled dollies
- Ability to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including work uniform, steel toe shoes, hair net, safety glasses, bump cap, and nitrile gloves
- Ability to wear face shield, respirator, and smock
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
- Adherence to corporate EH&S Standards
- Emphasis on safety and quality
- Operate various process equipment including reactors, pressure filters, pumps, filling, labeling and packaging equipment according to written SOP's and UOP's
- Perform equipment changeovers with Lock Out Tag Out and Confined space protocols
- Perform Elutriation processes and finished product discharges
- Perform R-Bead polymerization processes
- Perform Bead Coating processes
- Maintain batch and equipment records per department's ISO13485 standards and Good Documentation practices
- Work with the team on 5S and continuous improvement activities
- Perform cleaning activities in areas as needed
- Work on assignments with guidance of senior members of the team
- 2-2-3 Nights Shift Schedule
- 6:00pm - 6:30am shift
- 12 hr shift
- Adherence to Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery)
- Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- 1 years experience with chemicals or biotech
- Experience in cGMP Environment
- Use of Delta V
- Use of SAP
