Job Summary
Manufacturing Technician II on the Filling floor supporting the Process Execution Team (PET) with responsibilities including operating filling machinery, performing in-process monitoring, line clearances, batch record entries, cleaning, and maintaining cGMP compliance. Role requires working in controlled areas, aseptic gowning during training, data input into SCADA/HMI systems, visual and physical checks of in-process and finished materials, SF/QA documentation, and supporting lean activities (5S, SMED) and process improvements. Preferred background includes high school/vocational training, 1 year in pharma or cGMP environments, knowledge of LEAN, cGMPs, FDA policies, and material handling; base pay ranges from $21.50 to $32 per hour depending on location and experience, with no sponsorship for work authorization.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the ability to effectively understand, read, write, communicate and follow instructions in the English language
- Good attention to detail is required
- Individual must be capable of keeping accurate records and performing mathematical calculations
- Capable and motivated to learn new skills and develop new capabilities on an on-going basis to contribute to the success of the Process Execution Team
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Candidate should possess the ability to work in and adapt to a changing/demanding environment
- Candidate must attain aseptic gowning qualification during training and be able to aseptically gown on a regular basis
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate
- vocational school graduate or equivalent
- 1 Year of experience in a pharmaceutical or cGMP regulated environment
- Prior production experience
- LEAN manufacturing environment knowledge
- Knowledge of cGMPs and FDA policies/procedures
- Knowledge of product security controls and material handling equipment
